Firstly, I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to meet Steve Marshall because he has really helped me tremendously in the area of recovering from failure. I was bound in a cycle of doing wrong over and over again. I found myself in a place where my conscience was silenced  and failure became like second nature, but now I am free.

Coming out of prison, I was very likely to fall back into crime as I was a career criminal, but instead I found God in Reading. I attended a Potter's House concert and from there, under the guidance of Pastor Steve,  I have stayed clean in Christ and out of prison ever since .

Hello everyone, my name is Tatenda Chimunhu a Zimbabwean based gospel musician,  artist, songwriter,  composer, and International Award finalist. I want to take this opportunity to  thank God for the life of Pastor Steve Marshall. God has used him in so many ways in my life. Him being called by God and doing God's work diligently is one of the things for which I am grateful.

I remember myself, being a young Christian man, coming from a poor background and struggling over my future and whether  things were  going get better, stay the same or get even worse. At times I would question whether or not I was cursed, which brought me so much discomfort and affected my esteem.

Listening to Pastor Steve Marshall's preaching as well as being around him brought so much more to me; life was not a safer place, but through his ministry there was much more positivity in me than before.

Today I can confidently stand and be hopeful for a much better tomorrow without doubt. I have so much to thank God for the life of Pastor Steve Marshall and that includes my spiritual growth, mainly focusing on how he helped me to boost my faith. Psalms 103 has become my favorite verse and my reference point. This happened after he read the scripture to someone who testified being instantly healed and ever since that day,  I know God can do anything we may ask from Him.

I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Pastor Steve Marshall. It is hard to believe that I have known pastor Steve Marshall since 2011 when he began missionary work in Namibia with his family through the Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church. We met in Swakopmund Potter's House Church where we were introduced by my cousin Christopher Mandaha Makeva who’s
currently Pastor for Arandis Potter's House Church. 

From the outset of his arrival in Namibia Pastor Steve Marshall and his family was a great source of support. He was a dedicated Pastor encouraging a change of life to different people that came to him for help and he always impressed everyone around him with his accomplishments.

Our relationship has deepened through the years of his missionary work. He is a warm, thoughtful, dependable person, the type of person who always remembers birthday no matter how hectic his own life is at the time. While his missionary work has been extraordinarily successful, he has managed to maintain a sense of balance in his life, balancing travel and family relations.

In my own life he managed to encourage me to believe that in God there’s always help on the way, in all
situations that we go through, whether bad or good, God is still there (Roman 8vs 31), at the centre of all situations to provide recovery from failure. 

I always thank God for bringing pastor Steve Marshall with his family to Namibia as a missionary because I had a fear of white people but Pastor Steve Marshall restored my confidence through his discipleship, making me a man who can stand and understands the importance of  being people who care deeply about their surroundings and are considerate and co-operative. Pastor Steve Marshall 
had all those qualities and would be a wonderful neighbour, friend and asset to your life.

My name is Maggie McRae and I am a member of the Potters House Church, Reading. I have been a member for more than ten years. 

My brother's partner invited me to the church where I met Pastor Steve, who was the head and the founder of the Reading Potters House Church. He welcomed me and my family to the church and dedicated his time to helping me and my family to know God for ourselves.

Pastor Steve let God use him as a vessel to reach many people in Reading; preaching twice on Sunday, and every Wednesday, forming fellowships and welcoming the church in his home. He went out on the street every Saturday preaching the gospel to try to reach many more people. He was arrested and was named in the press and even that did not stop him preaching the love of God on the street . His message has always been the same, it hasn't changed, he preaches salvation and tells people about the love of God. 

For me Pastor Steve was not only my pastor but a brother, my friend and an adviser. He was always there for me and made it easy for me to approach him with my problems and struggles. Because of his work I am still in the same church, loving and serving God.

I thank God for his life and that of his family and I pray God continues to use him to reach many more.

From the bottom of my heart I would like to testify about what God has done in my life using our father Pastor Steve.

The first time I came to Potters House Church was in 2011.  A sister spoke to me in Rundu and at that time I didn't know the church. The sister lead me in the prayer of repentance and I became a born again Christian. In 2013 I travelled to Walvis bay and met Pastor Steve Marshall. At that time I was not having a close relationship with my father. My faith grew strong listening to his preaching and my prayer also life changed. God started answering my prayers, one was my relationship with my father. I don't know how he found out that I changed my life and started going to church, but one day he just called me and from that day until today I have a strong relationship with my father.

I thank you pastor Steve Marshall for your teachings, which  I miss but many still remain with me 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
